  • Anyone who comes to the class under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be asked to leave immediately and may face a probation violation and/or other legal consequences.

Payment and Registration

  • All payments are final.
  • Rescheduling or restarting a program for any reason may result in additional fees.
  • If payment is not made in full at the end of the program, it will be considered a failure to complete the program.

Department Programs

Adult Cognitive Restructuring Program (download brochure)

This program will assist adult offenders in building and restructuring cognitive skills. It will also assist offenders in understanding that in order to make positive changes, they must alter their entire approach to life by adjusting their thinking, values, relationships, and goals.

Sessions are held on Monday evenings for twelve consecutive weeks. They begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. Sessions are facilitated by Certified Cognitive Trainers. The cost is $150.00, and there is a rescheduling fee of $25.00. The class is held in the basement conference room in the lobby of the Probation office.

Youth Education Shoplifting Program (download brochure)

The Youth Education Shoplifting (YES) Program is designed for youth on diversion or probation who have committed a shoplifting offense in order to come into contact with the juvenile justice system. The Isanti County Probation YES Program goal is to help our youth understand how to make the choice not to shoplift and to understand the consequences that come from making the choice to shoplift.

Sessions are held when there are at least 2-8 Diversion or court-ordered youth to complete the class. The 2 hour program fee is $25.00 to be paid upon arrival at the class. The class is held in the lower level conference room in the Probation Department.

Bullying Intervention Program (download brochure)

This program is for juveniles who are demonstrating signs of disrespecting another person’s dignity, personal space, safety, and or property. The program consists of a 2-hour class facilitated by Isanti County Probation Agents. The fee is $25.00 and must be paid prior to starting the program. The locations will vary based on the number of participants and location of referrals. Referrals can be made by school administration, law enforcement, parents, and the Court.

Restorative Group Conferencing (download brochure)

A Restorative Group Conference is a face-to-face encounter between victim(s), offender(s), individuals who support each of them, and others who have been affected by the incident. Victim participation is voluntary; participation of the offender is based upon their willingness and readiness. Upon a guilty admission by the offender(s), a meeting between the victim(s), offender(s), and their support groups may be held.

Restorative conferences are held on an as needed basis.
