Let Us Know
At the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, we greatly value your input and information. Although we have posted voicemail numbers for each of our individual officers, along with our administrative telephone numbers to call us any time and a 24-hour anonymous "tip" line, we pride ourselves on technological advances and email accessibility for our citizens. Sometimes email is a great way to let us know what's going on in your neighborhood, request a service, or keep us informed about an ongoing problem. Email is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and you can be as descriptive as you need about what's going on. We receive several common complaints and requests for service, so we have made it easy for you to let us know about these types of problems below.
Although you can reach us by mail, email, phone, or fax, please remember to call 911 for any emergency. Call 911 or our 24-hour non-emergency number, (763) 689-2141, for any crimes in progress, if you've been in an accident, or for any immediate concerns that may require a prompt response. For all other inquiries, we'd ask for your patience due to the volume of emails we receive from the citizens we serve. While we will make every effort to respond to every email, there may be a delay in getting back to you while someone prepares a response in the next few days. For more immediate response, please consider using our telephone services listed on our contact page.
To report a "party house" or any other type of ongoing problem at a residence in your neighborhood, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be as descriptive as possible about the address or location of the residence (and any unique features of the house or property, to help us locate it more quickly), the types of problems at this house (including specific descriptions of the disturbances the house is creating, most common times of day when the problems occur, days of week when problems arise, etc), and what type of response you would like to see from our office.
To request a Sheriff's Office electronic speed trailer be stationed in your neighborhood due to recurrent speeders, to let people know how fast they are actually going, and as a deterrent to speeders in the area, please email email@example.com. Please let us know when people are commonly speeding through your neighborhood, which direction people are most commonly traveling when they are speeding by, and any suggestions you have about a good place to park the trailer for maximum effectiveness.
To report an abandoned vehicle that has been in your neighborhood for a while, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please try to let us know, as specifically as you can, where the vehicle is located. Any additional information you have about the vehicle that may be helpful, such as color, license plate number, model, or the like, would also be very much appreciated.
To report information about a pattern of suspicious activity in your neighborhood, please email email@example.com. Please be as descriptive as possible about the activity you are seeing, what times of day and days of the week the activity is most commonly occurring, the location where it's happening, and what you think might be going on. Remember, the more information you can provide - vehicle descriptions, specific times of day, numbers and descriptions of people, license plate numbers, directions of travel for people coming and/or going, etc - will help us more effectively respond to your concerns.
To report any other type of problem or concern please email firstname.lastname@example.org. To help us serve you most effectively, please be sure to be as descriptive as possible in your request for service here.
